A client since 2007, each summer we tag along on Explore Austin’s wilderness Trips where we capture the stories that help them connect with their community of supporters, mentors and youth.

Explore Austin uses mentoring, leadership, and outdoor adventure to empower youth to reach their full potential. Through a leadership based outdoor adventure curriculum coupled with social-emotional learning components and long-term mentoring, Explore Austin is improving the well-being of each participant, their families, and the community.

BACKGROUND

Founded in 2006, Explore combines the benefits of mentoring and outdoor adventure in a six-year program for 6th through 12th grade underserved youth.

One Story Productions has been a part of Explore Austin’s brand development through the production of over a dozen films.

We have travelled to Colorado, Washington and Missouri to capture how Explore Austin helps their “Explorers” increase self-confidence, build character, and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and those around them.

The films help to build recruit mentors/explorers, raise funds and thank their sponsors, donors supporters.
